- Hi All.
-
- I am having problems with my MicroVitec 1438 multisync monitor and my a1200.
- here is my spec...
-
- a1200+_hawk 4meg ram + 340meg 3.5 inch Seagate HDD + printer + 1438 monitor
-
- Running in super72:shires laced (and any other high resolution like dblpal)
- but NOT in something like pal:laced or equivalent 'old) mode, i get strange
- effects on my screen.
-
- a number of effects:
-
- 1) spurious lines appearing on the screen (not full screen width, jsut say
- 3cm long and flickery at random spots, but once they appear they dont go
- for a while.
- 2) Parts of the screen seem to go 'out of sync'. Below a point on the screen
- the screen flickers black briefly.
- 3) The screen occassionally just goes black. this only ever happens when using
- finalwriter release 3, always has 1+2 before hand. The screen just goes black,
- the machine is still working in the background - i can do anything i want - but
- blind!
-
- Does anyone knwo whats going on? Is it my machine or the monitor?
- Can it be fixed!!!
-
- Its not my utilities that i run on startup because i took all of them out, and
- still it happens.
- Its not a dodgy power supply (well it could be the brick), because i have a surge
- protector/power regulator thingy i borrowed from a friends pc.
-
- Any help muchly apprecited.
